What NFD’s done:

For decades, scientists have known that power can be transferred wirelessly over large distances using radio frequency fields. The principle is simple: the wavelength of a signal equals the speed of light divided by its frequency. Lower frequencies mean longer wavelengths, and historically, that created a major barrier.

High-efficiency wireless power transfer (greater than 80%) is only possible at distances shorter than one wavelength. The challenge was that traditional transmission antennas needed to be enormous—about one-quarter of the wavelength in diameter. For example, at 3 kHz (a wavelength of 100 km), the antenna would need to be roughly 25 km across—completely impractical for real-world applications.

The breakthrough at Near Field Dynamics changes that. By engineering a proprietary composite material with precisely designed dielectric properties, they have shrunk antenna size by more than a factor of 1,000. This innovation makes long-range, high-efficiency wireless power transmission not only possible but scalable.

They are pioneering a future where energy flows as seamlessly as data—without wires, without limits, and without compromise.
